ADM works everyday to make its growth as a company and the social and environmental concerns compatible in its strategy model.
ADM Mission, in that sense, consist of contributing in a proactive way to social, economic and environmental improvement, creating a bonus value in the countries where it develops its projects.
The dialogue between ADM and its stakeholders is integrated in the social responsibility strategy, promoting relationships based on trust. This commitment results in a mechanism for mutual understanding so that all the interested groups take each other in account in their day-to-day work. In cases in which the projects take place close to an inhabited area, a way for direct communication is always created so that everyone is involved in the local development.
ADM is aligned with the principles and axes of action of the international standard ISO 26000, the first truly universal standard of social responsibility when it comes to focusing operations responsibly.
Our objectives with the Corporate Social Responsibility
As part of its operational strategy, ADM commits to collaborate in the achievement of sustainable development goals, a set of measures to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure the global well-being of the people who need the collaboration of civil society and public and private sectors: here is where ADM can add value through its activity.
That is why ADM has identified, among its 17 goals (including areas such as climate change, economic inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice, among other priorities), three key objectives:
Ethics and good business practices are being increasingly demanded by society. That’s why ADM has an ethical code that constitutes an express declaration of values, principles and rules of conduct that should guide the behavior of the people who work there.
ADM has a commitment with the good corporate governance, so it carries out policies that ensure a model of ethics, compliance and transparency in processes and controls.
